Err message on my D80 good ، Err message on my D80 good
I was standing near a doorway with my camera at my side when a lady entered carrying a stool and lit the lens. I always have the sun shield on backwards and I thought that took the brunt of the hit. Now I have an Err message to the right of the battery indicator.
The camera still sounds find when I press the button, but it doesn’t work. I don’t hear anything that sound like it was knocked loose. I removed the battery, card and lens. Put everything back on and nada. The manual says to press the button and then contact Nikon. Is there anything else I can try or do I have to send it to the shop?
