For example, if I’m taking a picture of a couple standing still, the picture ends up having a background subject in focus and the subject slightly out of focus.
This has ruined quite a few shots for me…

And aren’t professionals, or if they shoot, they’re somewhat lousy at taking photos?
Kind of makes me a little mad, that they have what is the holy grail of cameras, but yet they don’t fully ultilize it. :dunno:

I’ve been shooting for about 6 months. I’m using a Nikon D5000 and shoot with either the kit 18-55 or my 35mm 1.8G. I do post work using CS5…I usually only bump up the contrast and saturation/vibrance a little. I don’t like to heavily ‘shop but I’m a fan of color.
So, what does OT think of my photostream?

Kind of an offtopic question, but I didn’t want to bury it in the chat thread.
Do any you gents get amnesia when you go for a while without editing/adding content to your sites? Sometimes I get vapor lock in my head when I want to change something on a website or add something on zenfolio. If I don’t do it often, I get rusty.
Does this happen to anyone else or am I just going senile?
