Just got this email yesterday from a client. Wanted to get some thoughts on it before I emailed her back.

My nail lady and her mom had a salon called Spa _______ in ___________ and they did a lot of wedding hair and makeup there. Their salon recently closed due to really high rent and they are going to start up another business centered around doing wedding hair and makeup. They have asked me to be the model for their advertisements…..they would do my hair and makeup for free for my bridal portraits if they could use some of the photos in their advertising. So, #1. is this ok with you for them to use your photo’s in their advertisement? And #2. Can I add a bridal session to my package? 🙂

My thought process is if they use the 1-2 pictures on a site and give me credit, I’d be ok w/ that. But if they want to use it print ads and use it over and over again, I wouldn’t totally be ok w/ it w/ out compensation. Whats everyone’s thoughts on this… and what kind of compensation would *you* ask for?
