I’m a personal trainer and I’m looking for ways to market myself in turn for a larger client base as well as submit photos to fitness magazines.

How much would it cost to hire a photographer to take photos such as these? (dark environment, resolution, etc.)

I took a trip to Kenya and I have 200 pictures that I took. The camera wasn’t the best, but some OTers were saying that with some photoshop work, they could look a lot better. I don’t have PS anymore and I have no experience in editing. I just want maybe 10-15 shots edited. The pics are something like 2300×1300 resolution. I would host all the pcs here but I don’t know of a server that will allow me to upload high-res. I could just e-mail them to you if you’re willing to help out. Please let me know!

Just got this email yesterday from a client. Wanted to get some thoughts on it before I emailed her back.

My thought process is if they use the 1-2 pictures on a site and give me credit, I’d be ok w/ that. But if they want to use it print ads and use it over and over again, I wouldn’t totally be ok w/ it w/ out compensation. Whats everyone’s thoughts on this… and what kind of compensation would *you* ask for?

******** is 30 min away. Shoot consist of black seamless, 3~ strobe set up. Front, back and side shot. For a swimwear online company. Images to be used for that only, photo credit and link on website.

Here’s the kicker. 3-4 models. 30 or so bikinis. New product line.
