what do you guys think is the best ~30mm prime or zoom lens for canon crop body? sharpest iq etc that is under $500?
i have the 50mm and 28mm 2.8 but looking to get a lens that isnt ridiculously budget since its been some time since i got my camera and still holding interest
honestly i want to sell the 50mm because i dont use it at all if someone wants to buy the 1.8 that was used once…

since im looking for a general walk around lens im thinking zoom would be more practical but i really like shooting with primes more so what does otap think?
im fine with used if its within budget

im new to take it easy on me.

why is the full frame better, picture quality, build quality, better materials used, et, etc

usually when i am looking at an awesome picture there is no way i can tell if its a full fram or a crop camera by looking at it alone. but the picture looks great none the less. so why the hate between crop and full frame. full frame guys talk down to the crop guys and the crop guys wishing to afford a full frame camera.

so what are the real advan***es

If you’re delivering pictures to a client what AR do you crop them to? 8×10, 8×12, both?

I loath the 8×10 format, but most people don’t know that such things as an 8×12 exist (my work’s lab is the only one in town that does them :ugh:). Do you give them a 4×6/8×12 and let them crop it themselves to an 8×10 (which it seems like most people want to frame vs an 8×12).
