I have my 5D2. Love it… until I feel a D3s body. The build, the feel, the ruggedness and the sound. It’s all so solid.
Everything seems reversed on a nikon. I can get used to that – my problem is lens comparisons.
I have:
5d2 with grip
35 1.4L
50mm 1.4
85 1.2L II
70-200 2.8L non-IS
Sell me on it. I want a comparable if not better setup if nikon has it. (sans the 50mm maybe – I never use it)

I’m making some changes to my lineup, and i’m not sure where to go right now…
I currently have the following:
14-24
Sigma 50mm 1.4
28-75 2.8
85mm 1.4G
80-200 2.8
I’m looking to add a wide angle prime to my bag, then dump the 28-75 and just go primes for my wide to normal range…
I’m debating between the 24mm and the 35mm, both new G versions…
I really like the 14-24, so I feel like the 24 would be overlapping that lens, and so the 35 becomes the obvious choice…
Of course, if the 24 is leaps and bounds better than both the 14-24 and the 35, maybe I need to re-think things a little…
I also can’t decide whether or not the 35 would be wide enough to satisfy my needs, and i’ve heard some grumblings of it not being as amazing as the 85, which has quickly become my new standard for awesomeness…

The lady at Wolf Camera (Chicago) gave me a card for Chicago Camera Specialists in the Loop. They have one bad review on the web. I had excellent experience with United Camera in Bensenville, but I thought I would check with OTAP before going back there. Please let me know if you know of a good Nikon repair shop. Thanks!
